Ever wondered what the “JaME office” looked like? Well unfortunately, JaME doesn’t have a proper office/workplace like that, seeing as the members are scattered all over the world. However, we asked the members of the English team to show their desks, their own “JaME offices,” to see where the magic is happening! Here are the results:
Heather: Well, Heather’s desk isn’t exactly a desk, but a bed! She told us this is only temporary: she recently moved and hasn’t gotten around getting new furniture yet.
sianface: It takes Sian exactly one day to make this mess appear on her desk (don’t kill me Sian!). We forgive her though: this desk in her Nagoya apartment is functioning as her desk, living room table, dining table and kitchen counter!
Jacob: Jacob’s laptop assists him during cooking, fieldwork, showering (almost!) and of course, JaME too. Amazing it’s still alive!
Kay: Kay’s desk may seem tidy, but the sad truth is…okay, there is no sad truth. The books are even lined up according to height!
Lacy & Chantel: These two are living together, and are also using the same very cozy desk! And who doesn’t have a soft spot for pink elephants? 
Myv382: Myv382 has decorated her walls with lots of posters…and camels! Take a closer look at the desk: she must have the most awesome looking webcam ever.
Ruka: Ruka goes for simplicity when working on JaME, only a lone stapler is accompanying her!
Sarah: It seems Sarah’s desk in her Japanese room is a combination of her bed and a TV cabinet. Multifunctional to the max!
anna: Most of Anna’s bedtime reading consists of JaME articles, so it’s no wonder she keeps her computer by the bed!
