Artist Recommendation: Aira Mitsuki
Aira Mitsuki is an up-and-coming electro artist. Despite being just 19 years of age, she has already made a name for herself as one of the premier trance and electro artist in Japan. This was helped, in part, by her winning the 2007 MEGA TRANCE Singer audition. Her music tends to have a sci-fi theme, which is one of the reasons that one of her songs was selected as the theme for the Japanese “Transformers Café”. Her first overseas performance was in Beijing at an MTV sponsored event, a mean feat for such a young artist.
To date she has released 3 singles, all of which show a lighthearted dance influence making it near impossible not to fall in love with her music. And for those of you who do, there’s an album set for release this summer!

Release Recommendation: Colourful Tokyo Sounds No. 9
This may be the debut single from Aira but it’s difficult to tell. This single is a spacey-trance wonder that wouldn’t sound out of place next to some of Europe’s top dance acts.
