Post Your Concert Memorabilia!

During concerts, band members tend to throw guitar picks into the audience, and of course, drumsticks at the end of the concert. Sometimes, you get lucky and catch one of the items thrown into the audience. Some people are extremely lucky and manage to catch something at every event, but for others, catching a falling star would be easier!

Seeing as it doesn’t happen much, we’re asking everyone who has ever caught something to photograph/scan their picks and drumsticks and post them here! We would also like you to write down which band member it belonged to, the band, the date of the concert and the location of the concert.

Here are a few examples:

Közi (eve of destiny) June 13th, 2004 , Münster, Germany (front and back)
Közi (eve of destiny) November 13th, 2004 , Leeuwarden, The Netherlands (front and back)
Leona (Hagakure support) January 21st, 2007, Utrecht, The Netherlands.

So, share what you’ve caught and post it in the comments of this post! We’ll be compiling everything into one weblog post soon, so everybody can take a look at your unique concert memorabilia!

About the Author

Kay is the English version manager, aka editor in chief/executive editor and one of JaME’s vice-presidents. Between her job, second BA studies and random language courses, she’s able to find time to shout at her darling team members and write an article or two once in a while. If that isn’t enough, she runs a JRock company in her home country and occasionally organizes concerts of well-known Japanese rock acts.    Although she got into Japanese music through visual kei, she has now moved onto different sorts of music such as pop, alternative/indie rock and will talk your ears off about anything related to reggae in Japan.
