When I was fourteen, I would spend every Sunday morning listening to my newly bought CDs, writing down a list of which CDs I’ve bought and what my upcoming purchases would be. I never imagined that years later, I would still use my Sunday mornings to write those lists. My CD list has gotten longer and my wallet has gotten thinner.
We all know that buying Japanese music in an expensive hobby and once you’ve bought a CD of your favorite band, you feel like telling the whole world about it. Especially if that CD was hard to find and you pretty much had to sell your kidney to get it. It’s something to be proud of, after all: you are supporting your favorite band.
We’d like to dedicate this post to JMusic collections, so send us pictures of yours! It can either be of your most precious CD/DVD, the entire collection of your favorite artist’s releases or just of your whole, infinite collection.

It’s not much, but it’s what I’ve got with me right now. I did buy all of it in the last 2 or 3 months. ^^;
On organization, I do it by band name and then date of release.

I don’t own very much stuff… just about: 59 CDs, 22 videos, 15 DVDs, 2 CD-ROMs, 10 books and some magazines. my most precious media is everything I own about X JAPAN and HIDE! ~my stuff is not sorted in any way^^;

collection of about 10 years ^^ well at least all the CDs and DVDs. Still it has no order in them cuz I´m too lazy …usually I try to sort them up by artist.. and “belonging together” artists..like Malice Mizer, Mana and Közi close ..^^ you know what I mean.

I have 19 CDs, 20 singles, 5 VHS tapes, and 2 DVDs.
Everything but the L’arc en Ciel, TM Revolution, and X Japan items were purchased since June. I normally have my cds arranged by which artist did I bought a CD of first and then release dates. The only exception is my Zigzo CDs, I bought my L’arc en Ciel CDs before my Zigzo CDs. You can also tell what my favorite band is by looking at my collection. XD
