The cheerful pop-punk trio BEE-315 recently released a new album, Where did they go? Naturally, we asked the band the same question: “Where did you go?” and they gave us a report of the happenings of their day.
RIU(Bass & Vocal)
I woke up at noon and went to Yokohama to buy bass strings, a double bass bow, the manual for an upright bass, and some clothes.
I went to a music store and bought the bass strings for our upcoming tour. Couldn’t find the manual there.I went to other music store and found a bunch of double bass bows, but they were really expensive! I decided not to buy any. Couldn’t find the manual there either.
Then I went to a book store but still couldn’t find the manual… so I bought the comic “CROWS” on impulse instead.I went back home at 3 in the afternoon and started to read “CROWS”.
I found the comics so interesting that I ended up burying my nose in them until 8 at night.I ate dinner, watching the pre-recorded episodes of “Prison Break”. I practiced on my bass and went over the lyrics for the next day’s live. I took a shower and suddenly realized that I forgot to buy any clothes!
KAWASAKI(Guitar & Vocal)
I went to a ramen shop with my friends. This particular shop is very famous for rich and tasty soup, but rumor has it that you will be kicked out if you eat the noodles before you slurp the broth. We wanted to see if this was true.
When we entered the shop, a waitress came up to us with a smile and showed us to our table. She seemed very friendly and nice.
We placed an order which she wrote down before vanishing into the kitchen.She came back with a bowl of ramen and it was for a guy with a grey suit sitting next to us. “Please taste the broth first,” she said to him with a smile. However, he brought the noodles to his mouth! …maybe because he was so engaged in reading a magazine that he didn’t hear her voice.
It turns out… the rumor is true…. You don’t wanna know what she turned into….
We, of course, tasted the broth first and it tasted great.
Kentalow (Drums & Chorus)
I woke up in the afternoon. I went to see “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” with a friend of mine (I loved it). We went to “Yakiniku-ya”/a broiled meat restaurant and we both wolfed down our food but only I ended up with hiccups.
I couldn’t get rid of them for a long time even though I tried by drinking a ton of water. When I stopped hiccupping, it was already past midnight!

Kay is the English version manager, aka editor in chief/executive editor and one of JaME’s vice-presidents. Between her job, second BA studies and random language courses, she’s able to find time to shout at her darling team members and write an article or two once in a while. If that isn’t enough, she runs a JRock company in her home country and occasionally organizes concerts of well-known Japanese rock acts.
